Hai Phong City People's Committee decided to convert 310 villages into residential groups in wards of Thuy Nguyen city, An Duong district and Hong Bang district.
Of which, Thuy Nguyen city has 187 villages forming residential groups including: Duong Quan and Tran Hung Dao wards with 18 residential groups; Thuy Ha ward with 11 residential groups; Hoa Dong and Le Hong Phong wards with 13 residential groups; Nam Trieu Giang ward with 12 residential groups; Pham Ngu Lao, Hoang Lam, and Luu Kiem wards with 11 residential groups; Hoa Binh ward with 9 residential groups; Thien Huong, Quang Thanh, An Lu, and Lap Le wards with 8 residential groups; Tam Hung ward with 6 residential groups. Thuy Duong ward has 24 residential groups (5 residential groups in the old Nui Deo town and 19 villages forming residential groups).
An Duong and Hong Bang districts converted a total of 123 villages into residential groups. Of which, Hong Bang district established 3 wards An Hong, An Hung, Dai Ban on the basis of the entire natural area and population size of An Hong, An Hung, Dai Ban communes (old An Duong district). Villages in the above 3 communes were converted into residential groups of Hong Bang district from January 6, 2025.
