The Department of Home Affairs said it has advised the Provincial People's Committee on the rearrangement of specialized agencies.
It is expected that after the reorganization, there will be a reduction of 5 departments, 5 department offices, 5 department inspectors, 12 specialized departments (a reduction of more than 19%); a reduction of 4 department directors, 12 department deputy directors, 17 department heads and 13 deputy department heads.
Mr. Dong Van Thanh - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province - suggested that the Department of Home Affairs continue to coordinate with agencies and localities to advise well on the work of arranging and organizing a streamlined apparatus, operating effectively and efficiently.
Streamlining staffing associated with improving the quality of staff, civil servants and public employees, meeting new task requirements.
The Department of Home Affairs will also proactively review tasks related to the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels, and research and develop a master plan for the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels for the period 2026 - 2030.
