Merge Hau Giang Newspaper and Hau Giang Radio and Television Station; merge 3 associations (Association for the Blind, Association for the Support of the Disabled - Orphans - Poor Patients, Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin); merge Hau Giang Provincial Literature and Arts Association and Journalists Association; merge Hau Giang Community College with Southern Law College (according to Notice No. 7073/TB-BCD dated December 6, 2024 of the Steering Committee summarizing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Ministry of Justice).
Transfer the functions and tasks of the Office of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee to the Department of Infrastructure Development or the Department of Transport and Urban Construction; transfer the functions and tasks of the Office of Coordination of National Target Programs to the Office of the Provincial People's Committee; transfer the state management function of high-tech agriculture of the Management Board of the High-tech Agricultural Zone to the Management Board of Provincial Industrial Zones; transfer the functions and tasks of the public service unit of the Management Board of the High-tech Agricultural Zone to the Department of Digital Transformation, Science, Technology and Communications.

The Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee coordinates with the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and relevant agencies, units and localities to continue researching and proposing to arrange and streamline the organizational apparatus of a number of agencies and units in accordance with the Central Government's policies and local practices.
According to the direction of the Central Steering Committee, after merging and consolidating the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee, there will be 5 agencies left (1 reduction). The advisory and support agencies of 8 district, town and city Party Committees will reduce by 8 agencies (1 reduction for each district, town and city). The Party organizations directly under the Provincial Party Committee will have 12 Party organizations left (10 reduction). The specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee will have 14 agencies left (5 reduction). The specialized agencies under the People's Committees of 8 districts, towns and cities will reduce by 16 agencies (2 reduction for each district, town and city).
