Continuing the second working day of the 29th Session, this morning (July 17), the People's Council of Quang Ninh province, term XIV, 2021-2026, agreed to dismiss Mr. Le Van Anh, term XIV, 2021-2026, from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term XIV, 2021-2026, for Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Nghiem Xuan Cuong; dismiss Mr. Khuc Thanh Du - former Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue - former Chief Inspector of the province; Le Thanh Cung - former Director of the Department of Justice, to take on new assignments according to the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee.
At the session, delegates of the Provincial People's Council also listened to the Proposal of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council introducing Comrade Nghiem Xuan Cuong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, to be elected to the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, term XIV, 2021-2026; the proposal of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee introducing Mr. Le Van Anh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Nguyen Van Cong - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee - to be elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term XIV, 2021-2026.
Introduce the election of additional members of the Provincial People's Committee, including: Mai Vu Tuan - Director of the Department of Justice; Le Trong Hoa - Commander of the Provincial Military Command and Nguyen Kim Anh - Chief Inspector of the province.
Based on the submissions, the delegates of the Provincial People's Council voted to elect Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Mr. Le Van Anh and Mr. Nguyen Van Cong to the positions. As a result, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong was elected as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, term XIV, 2021-2026; Le Van Anh and Nguyen Van Cong were elected as Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, term XIV, 2021-2026, with 100% of delegates attending the meeting in favor.
At the meeting, the People's Council of Quang Ninh province also passed 22 resolutions to concretize the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee into the actual conditions of the locality, creating a policy mechanism to promote the potential and promote the socio-economic development of the province, meeting the requirements of the task of operating the two-level local government model.
