On March 2, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province confirmed that it had issued a plan to implement a 20-day and night peak to complete the digitalization of civil status data in Quang Tri province starting from March 1, 2025.
The number of civil status data digitized this time from 2005 and earlier with 203,584 cases.
The digitization of civil status data is done by scanning the civil status book and naming the data file according to each book, each year. This is to create links with corresponding household registration data in the electronic household registration database, serve the work of storing data as well as to compare, review and authenticate information when necessary.
The unit directly implementing digitalization is the People's Committee at the commune level, in which the commune-level police force is mobilized to participate in the implementation.
To successfully digitize civil status data, the Department of Justice of Quang Tri province has sent many working groups to the grassroots to guide.
