Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, attended and directed the conference.
The conference was attended by more than 300 delegates working in propaganda and mass mobilization to represent military units, police, government, parliament, Vietnam Fatherland Front and central organizations; provincial and municipal Party committees; journalism associations, science - technology and literature - arts associations.
On the side of Quang Ninh province, there were Mr. Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
At the conference, assessing the first 6 months of 2025, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization sector achieved many outstanding results. The whole industry has urgently arranged and perfected the organizational apparatus, quickly stabilized the work, clearly demonstrating the effectiveness of the spirit of "running and lining up" with important initial results.
The sector has actively advised the Politburo, the Secretariat and Party committees at all levels on Party building work in all political, ideological and ethical aspects; directly successfully organized many major conferences and events, creating strong impressions and influence in society.
Notable activities are the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.
Propaganda, press, publishing, and foreign information work have been implemented promptly and effectively, contributing to creating positive changes in the entire political system. The work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation has been vigorously and synchronously implemented by Steering Committees at all levels.
The fields of culture, arts, and teaching continue to be innovated, closely following reality, and comprehensively implemented in many aspects of social life.
Concluding the conference, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia praised and acknowledged the comprehensive results of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization sector nationwide in recent times.
He requested the industry to continue to thoroughly grasp the Party's viewpoints, especially the directives of General Secretary To Lam on propaganda and mass mobilization work in the new period. The industry needs to innovate thinking, enhance strategy and practical action to promote its role in the new era.
The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee emphasized: We must do a better job of ideological, propaganda and mobilization work to create the strength of solidarity, unity of will and action in the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army.
The industry needs to focus on developing and perfecting preliminary drafttions, summarizing resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Politburo, Secretariat, and Party committees at all levels on schedule and with quality.
Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia also noted to strengthen direction and orientation of press work to propagate Party congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress; promote the fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints, and protect the Party's ideological foundation.
At the same time, it is necessary to continue to promote the effectiveness of advisory work for Party committees at all levels in the fields of culture, science, technology, education - training, environment, and people's health care. In particular, promoting the "smart mass mobilization" movement associated with the patriotic emulation movement and effectively implementing the "four pillar resolutions" (Resolutions No. 57-NQ/TW, 59-NQ/TW, 66-NQ/TW and 68-NQ/TW).
