At 9:20 p.m. on September 2 (the same evening as Vietnam time), the plane carrying Politburo member and President Luong Cuong and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation arrived at the international airport in Beijing, starting the program to attend the 80th anniversary of the victory of the world's people and working in China from September 2 to 4 at the invitation of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.
Welcoming the President and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation at the international airport in Beijing were Minister of Human Resources and Social Security Vuong Hieu Binh; Member of the National People's Committee of China, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Beijing City, Diem Ngao Suong; Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Ha Vi.
On the Vietnamese side were Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh; officials and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in China.
The 80th Anniversary of the World People's Socialist Victory is one of the events of global stature, not only recalling a major historical milestone, but also affirming the foundational values that have shaped the modern international order: peace, independence, sovereignty, equal cooperation and development.
According to Xinhua News Agency, activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the World People's Socialist Victory are scheduled to start at 9am on September 3, Beijing time (8am on the same day, Hanoi time).
The participation of President Luong Cuong at the above ceremony continues to affirm Vietnam's foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, diversification, multilateralization, proactiveness, active and comprehensive, extensive and effective international integration, positive and responsible contributions to peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
In addition to attending the 80th anniversary of the socialist victory of the world people, President Luong Cuong also had bilateral activities in China during this working trip.
In the context of the current deep, substantial and comprehensive development of the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries of Vietnam and China, President Luong Cuong's working trip is an important event with many meanings.
During the working trip, President Luong Cuong is expected to hold talks and meetings with key Chinese leaders. This is an opportunity for the leaders of the two countries to continue to consolidate and realize the high-level common perception of further enhancing political trust, promoting substantive and mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields between the two countries, as well as contributing to the common development of the region and the world.
The President also plans to have meetings with leaders of countries and international organizations to attend the celebration. This is also an important occasion for Vietnam to exchange and promote practical and multifaceted friendship and cooperation with important regional and international partners, conveying images and widely disseminating information about the socio-economic development achievements after 80 years of the country's founding, thereby spreading a positive message of trust and confidence in the country and people of Vietnam.
