On September 3, China will hold a major parade in central Beijing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory in World War II, pledging to strive for peaceful development in a world full of change.
This is the second time since 2015 that China has held a parade to celebrate the victory in the Chinese People's War against Japan and the World Anti-Passit War in 1945.
General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, President Xi Jinping, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, are expected to speak at the ceremony and approve the parade formation.
According to the organizers, the parade through Truong An Avenue (Peace of Vietnam) aims to send the message that "justice wins", "Peace wins" and "The people win".
More than 20 foreign leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, will join President Xi Jinping at the Tiananmen Stadium to watch the parade.
Representatives of those who supported China's victorious efforts in World War II, or their family members - from countries such as Russia, the US, the UK, France and Canada - were also invited to attend the solemn ceremony.

Japan officially surrendered on September 2, 1945, by signing the Surrender Document. After that, China chose September 3, 1945 as Victory Day.
China began fighting against socialist invaders in 1931, destroying more than 1.5 million enemy troops.
Meanwhile, the number of casualties of Chinese military and people reached 35 million, accounting for a third of the total number of casualties of all countries in World War II.
With great national sacrifices, China has contributed significantly to the victory of the World Anti-P rate War. The parade is expected to demonstrate the country's commitment to making greater contributions to world peace and development.
The parade will have the participation of more than 10,000 soldiers, along with more than 100 aircraft and hundreds of ground equipment, arranged into formations according to the wartime command system.
The new military and armament system of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) will be displayed for the first time.
The parade will display advanced Chinese equipment, including unmanned military equipment, hypersonic missiles, oriented energy weapons, electronic harassment systems and strategic weapons.
