The national training conference opened on the morning of June 14 and is expected to take place over 2 days, 14-15.
Attending the conference at the main highlight of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics were Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Politburo members: Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Member of the Politburo, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; General Luong Tam Quang, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security. Also attending were members of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Ministers: Le Thanh Long, Tran Hong Ha, Mai Van Chinh.
The conference was attended by Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung; Hanoi member of the Politburo, Hanoi Party Committee Secretary Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Ho Chi Minh City member, Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Nen.
The conference was connected online from the main hotline of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to 11,000 hotlines nationwide with over 1.5 million delegates attending.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council - said: The national training conference on expertise and profession related to the organization, building of the Party, state management for cadres, civil servants and public employees at the new commune level to effectively implement Resolution No. 18 dated October 25, 2017 of the Central Executive Committee on a number of issues to continue to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient.
Specifically, Resolution No. 60, dated April 12, 2025 of the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee; Conclusions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on merging provincial administrative units that are not organized at district level, merging commune-level units and building a model of organizing local government at 2 levels; arranging socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State to the Fatherland Front; performing the task of arranging the apparatus and organizing and organizing commune-level administrative units (new) to ensure progress.
Training conference for Party committees at all levels, Party organizations and cadres, civil servants, and public employees, especially cadres and civil servants at the provincial and commune levels (new) after the arrangement on professional and technical contents related to Party building organization, state management, organization and operation of the Fatherland Front, social political organizations (new), and commune-level political organizations (new).
