The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council reviews and adjusts the structure, composition and allocation of the number of people recommended to run for the 18th Provincial People's Council delegates, term 2026 - 2031 at agencies, organizations and units in the province.
Based on the results of the first consultation, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council proposed to adjust the total number of people recommended to run for the 18th Provincial People's Council delegates, term 2026 - 2031 to 170 people.
Of which, 80 people are women, accounting for 47%; 49 people are young people (under 40 years old), accounting for 29%; 38 people are non-P Party people, accounting for 22%. The number, structure, and composition of people recommended for candidates are allocated to 75 agencies, organizations, units, and localities.
The allocation of people recommended for candidates at each agency and unit is balanced in accordance with the functions, tasks and actual situation; at the same time, ensuring the ratio of female delegates, young delegates, and a reasonable ratio between regions and sectors according to regulations.

In addition, the allocation also maintains a reasonable ratio of non- Party delegates and re-elected delegates to inherit the experience of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2026 - 2031.
According to Mr. Tran Quoc Van - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, adjusting the structure, composition and allocation of the number of people recommended for nomination is an important step, contributing to preparing well for the election of delegates of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2026 - 2031; ensuring the selection of exemplary delegates in quality, capacity, representing the will and aspirations of voters and people in the province.
Therefore, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested agencies and units to urgently complete the introduction of candidate personnel, ensuring democracy, objectivity, and compliance with the process to report to competent authorities; at the same time, closely coordinate with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in the next steps of the negotiation process according to the provisions of the Election Law.
