The 12th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee took place in an atmosphere of excitement across the country, competing to achieve achievements to celebrate major holidays and important events of the nation and determined to successfully implement the socio-economic development goals in 2025 and the goals of the Congress.
This is a conference of special significance, convene earlier than planned, demonstrating the proactive, urgent and highly responsible spirit of the entire Party in comprehensively and thoroughly preparing the contents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party.
At this Conference, the Central Committee focused on discussing and giving opinions on three major groups of contents. These are: Group of contents on preparations for the 14th National Party Congress; Group of contents to create a political and legal basis for the goal of continuing to reform and innovate the country in the coming time; Group of contents on personnel work.
Regarding the group of contents on the preparation for the 14th National Party Congress, the 14th National Party Congress Document Subcommittees have selectively and seriously received the comments and comments of Central Committee members at the 11th National Party Conference as well as in the draft Documents; comments and contributions from Party members and the masses, of a number of Party Congresses at the commune and ward levels held recently.
Regarding the group of contents to create a political and legal basis for the goal of continuing to reform and innovate the country in the coming time, the Central Government has directed agencies under the National Assembly, the Government, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations to focus on removing difficulties and institutional obstacles, creating a legal corridor for national development.
For the group of contents of personnel work, Party building and Party charter implementation, the Central Committee will consider supplementing the planning of the 14th Central Executive Committee, Secretariat, and Politburo; direction of personnel work of the 14th Party Central Committee; consider personnel work under its authority.
Speaking at the opening of the Conference, General Secretary To Lam stated that in order to complete a huge amount of work in a short time, the requirement is that each Central Committee member needs to promote a high sense of responsibility, focus on intelligence, discuss democratically, frankly, objectively and accurately; must put national and ethnic interests first and foremost. Do not let any local interests, personal emotions orwalk, avoid affecting the quality of decision making. Each opinion contributed at this Conference is not only meaningful with the content of the document, but also plays a role in shaping the strategic direction of our Party from now until 2030 and vision to 2050.
According to the program, the Conference will work until July 19, 2025.
