National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man requested the Government to urgently get people's opinions on the draft Land Law (amended) through the VNeID system of the Ministry of Public Security.

In the afternoon of September 3rd, the National Assembly Standing Committee summarized the First Extraordinary Session of the 16th National Assembly.

In the summary report, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Chairman of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh said that the First Extraordinary Session of the 16th National Assembly was a great success, completing all the contents and programs set out.

The National Assembly has considered and passed 15 laws, 6 legal normative resolutions; considered and decided on personnel work, 7 groups of important issues under its authority and gave initial opinions on 7 other draft laws and codes.

Basically agreeing with the summary report of the First Extraordinary Session, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau said that the National Assembly's organization of the Extraordinary Session right from the beginning of the term shows a spirit of proactiveness, responsibility, and drastic action.

This promptly considers and decides on urgent issues to remove bottlenecks in institutions and policies, meeting the requirements of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security and social security.

Regarding the preparation for the second session of the 16th National Assembly, Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau said that very early on, the Government had a document directing ministries and agencies to urgently complete dossiers, documents, and reports to the Government.

Speaking in conclusion, Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man highly appreciated the efforts of the agencies, immediately after the First Extraordinary Session, they urgently reviewed and completed the dossiers to submit for signing and verification of laws and resolutions passed by the National Assembly to ensure the time for publication according to the provisions of law.

In addition, the National Assembly Chairwoman also noted to overcome the situation of documents being sent late, late, and close to the time of review. At the same time, continue to promote digital transformation, applying information technology to support delegates in searching for and exploiting information.

The National Assembly Chairwoman also requested the Government and relevant organizations within the scope of their tasks and powers to urgently organize the implementation of laws and resolutions passed by the National Assembly at the session.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man assigned the Ethnic Council and Committees to closely monitor the issuance of decrees and circulars by government agencies to ensure "timeliness, accuracy, and correctness" for people and businesses.

Promulgate to ensure the progress of detailed regulations, promote propaganda and dissemination of laws, and bring laws and resolutions passed by the National Assembly into life soon to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

To prepare for the Second Session, the National Assembly Chairman said that 7 draft laws have been discussed at the First Extraordinary Session. At the same time, he requested the Government through the VNeID system of the Ministry of Public Security, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and the Government Electronic Information Portal to urgently get people's opinions on the draft Land Law (amended) and the Penal Code (amended).

Emphasizing that the Second Session is expected to have a particularly large workload, with 60 contents, including many important draft laws and resolutions, the National Assembly Chairman requested the agency to proactively and urgently prepare early and thoroughly, ensuring that the contents submitted to the National Assembly are of quality, on schedule, and in accordance with procedures.
