Ring Road 4 Project - Capital Region: The Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region construction project is a national key project. The route passes through 3 provinces and cities (Hanoi, Hung Yen and Bac Ninh), connecting Hanoi - Lao Cai and Noi Bai - Ha Long expressways with a total length of 112.8 km with a total investment of phase 1 of about 85.8 trillion VND, a total clearance volume of 1,386 hectares, on the route to build 3 large bridges over the Red River, Duong River and 8 other intersections. After more than 1 year of construction, Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region is gradually taking shape, having disbursed 11.6% of the capital plan.
Ring Road 1 Project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section (phase 1): The project is 2.3 km long, 50 m wide and includes 2 overpasses at the Lang Ha - Nguyen Chi Thanh intersection. The starting point of the route intersects with Cat Linh - La Thanh - Yen Lang road at Hoang Cau (Dong Da district) and the end point is at Voi Phuc intersection (Ba Dinh district). The investment level of phase 1 of the project is more than 7.2 trillion VND from the city budget, of which construction cost is 627 billion VND and site clearance cost is 5.8 trillion VND. Up to now, the project has disbursed 43.6% of the capital plan.
Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section: Project to renovate 21.7 km, from Ba La intersection in Ha Dong district to Xuan Mai town in Chuong My district. The project will be upgraded to 4 - 6 lanes, designed speed of 80 km/h, roadbed width expanded to 50m - 60m, contributing to completing the radial axis connecting National Highway 21A, Ho Chi Minh road and Ring Road 4 of the Capital region. Total investment capital is 8.1 trillion VND from the City budget, of which over 5.1 trillion VND is for site clearance; 2.9 trillion VND is for construction costs and equipment purchases. Up to now, the project has disbursed 10.1% of the capital plan.
Thang Long Highway Project, the section connecting National Highway 21 to Hanoi - Hoa Binh Highway: 6.7 km long, starting point connecting Thang Long Highway with National Highway 21, Thach Hoa Commune, Thach That District, ending point connecting with Hoa Lac - Hoa Binh Road; cross-section from 120m - 180m. Total investment of the whole project is 5.2 trillion VND. Up to now, the project has disbursed 11% of the capital plan.
Yen Xa wastewater treatment system project in Hanoi city: With an investment of 16.3 trillion VND, of which 84.1% is ODA loan from the Japanese Government. The project includes a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 270 thousand m³/day and night and a wastewater collection sewer line along To Lich River, Lu River, Set River, and part of Nhue River with a service area of about 4,874 hectares. Up to now, the wastewater treatment system from To Lich River to the above plant for treatment has been 90% completed, on December 1, 2024, Yen Xa Wastewater Treatment Plant went into trial operation.
