This is a strategic development step, both inheriting and promoting the role of the previous Government Party Committee and laying the foundation for the mission of building and modern national governance in the leadership and direction of the Government Party Committee, especially in strategic decisions, pillars and momentum for national development in the new situation.
Looking back at the 2020-2025 term, in the context of the world and regional situation evolving rapidly, complexly, and unpredictablely, with many unprecedented problems and exceeding forecasts; Our country has suffered the "double impact" of negative external impacts and internal limitations and shortcomings that have lasted for many years. In general, difficulties and challenges outweigh opportunities and advantages; under the leadership of the Party Central Committee, directly and regularly the Politburo and the Secretariat, headed by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and current General Secretary To Lam; The Government Party Committee, the Party Committees of Ministries, branches and 02 Block Party Committees and currently the Government Party Committee have inherited and promoted previous achievements to focus on leading and directing affiliated party committees and organizations to closely follow the Party's policies and guidelines, synchronously and effectively implementing 3 strategic breakthroughs, 6 key tasks, 12 main groups of solutions proposed by the 13th Party Congress; synchronously and comprehensively deploy tasks and solutions across fields; just focus on solving regular tasks; At the same time, respond promptly, flexibly, appropriately and effectively to newly arising problems with the spirit of outstanding efforts, not backing down in the face of difficulties, always innovating and being creative to make policy decisions to "turn the situation around, change the status"; Especially in the last 2 years of the term, we focused on directing, advising and implementing strategic tasks and historic decisions of the Party and State on arranging and streamlining the apparatus, building a 2-level local government organization model and Resolutions of the Politburo to create development breakthroughs in key areas in the new period. Thanks to the drastic participation of the entire political system, the business community and the people of the country under the leadership of the Party and the help of international friends, our country has achieved important and comprehensive results, with many outstanding highlights in all fields, contributing to affirming: "Our country has never had the fortune, potential, prestige and international position as it does today."
