On the morning of December 15, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission and the working delegation attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of houses for households whose houses were collapsed or damaged by natural disasters in Ham Thuan Bac commune.
At the same time, they visited and presented gifts to people affected by floods in Ham Thuan commune, Lam Dong province.

Ham Thuan Bac commune is located in the southeastern area of Lam Dong province, one of the localities heavily affected by two consecutive floods in late October - early November and early December.
At the ceremony, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac and Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie K dam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province presented a symbolic board "Supporting the construction of houses for households whose houses were damaged or completely collapsed by natural disasters" to 6 households.
After that, the delegates performed the groundbreaking ceremony to build 6 houses for the people.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary - Y Thanh Ha Nie K dam said that, responding to the spirit of the "Quang Trung Campaign", the province continues to build houses for households that suffered heavy damage due to floods.
The Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary requested that agencies and units assigned to support the construction of houses for people need to urgently implement them, ensuring progress and quality. The construction of the houses must be completed by the second half of January 2026 at the latest so that people have stable housing before the Lunar New Year 2026.

Also at the ceremony, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac presented 15 gifts to support households that suffered heavy damage due to floods, each worth 5 million VND. The Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee also presented 15 gifts, each worth 2 million VND in cash.

After the groundbreaking ceremony, the working group visited Tam Hung village, Ham Thuan commune - an area considered the flood center in the two recent floods due to its location along the Cai River basin. Here, about 1,350 houses were flooded, more than 200 hectares of crops and crops were seriously affected.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac acknowledged and praised the efforts of the people of Ham Thuan commune in self-healing the consequences of natural disasters.
At the same time, he highly appreciated the proactiveness of local authorities and armed forces in rescue work, supporting people to soon stabilize their lives and production.

Mr. Phan Dinh Trac hopes that people will continue to strive to overcome difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives. He also suggested that authorities at all levels boldly make recommendations and proposals to superiors to overcome difficulties caused by natural disasters.
On this occasion, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac continued to give 15 more gifts to support families that suffered heavy losses due to floods. The Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee also presented 15 more gifts to people in affected areas, showing timely concern and sharing with people in flooded areas.
