At the 26th Session, delegates studied, discussed, participated in opinions and unanimously voted to pass 13 resolutions, including: 2 resolutions on organizational work under their authority; 11 resolutions on the fields of education, industry and trade, cooperatives, land, investment and public investment.

With the Resolution on adjusting and supplementing the public investment plan for 2025 (1st time), the Provincial People's Council agreed to adjust and supplement with a capital of more than 781 billion VND.
Delegates also passed a Resolution regulating the collection of service fees for educational activities other than tuition fees to meet the needs of learners of public educational institutions; Resolution to supplement the list of works and projects requiring land acquisition in the province in 2025 (2nd time), including 3 more works and projects requiring land acquisition, with an area of over 627 hectares...
The session agreed to dismiss the positions of members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, for Mr. Nguyen Minh Tri (former Director of the Department of Home Affairs), Nguyen Thanh Phong (former Director of the Department of Construction), Ngo Minh Long (former Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development), Nguyen Hoang Trieu (former Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee), Le Quoc Viet (former Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office), Nguyen Van Tuan (former Director of the Department of Justice); Le Phuoc Thai (former Director of the Department of Finance) due to changing working positions and retirement.
Also at the session, delegates elected additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, for Ms. Tran Thi Huyen - Director of the Department of Education and Training; Ms. Tran Phuong Quyen - Director of the Department of Justice; Mr. Nguyen Huynh Phuoc - Director of the Department of Science and Technology.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Hau Giang Provincial People's Council Dong Van Thanh requested all levels, sectors, localities and units to focus on implementing well the contents of arranging and perfecting the team of cadres and civil servants at the commune and provincial levels, especially selecting cadres who must have qualities, abilities, prestige, and be on par with their tasks, ensuring sufficient capacity to work in the new environment, not allowing "brain drain".
Units and localities focus on directing, inspecting and urging the implementation of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
The province speeds up the implementation progress, ensuring the completion of 70-80% of the target before April 30 and 100% before July 27, 2025 so that people with revolutionary contributions, poor households, near-poor households, and housing difficulties can soon have safe housing, stabilize their lives, work with peace of mind, production, business, and economic development.
The Provincial Party Secretary suggested that the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of the province continue to closely coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee, delegates and delegates of the Provincial People's Council to organize meetings with voters, promptly grasp the situation and thoughts of the people, especially on the arrangement of the apparatus of the political system, merging at the commune and provincial levels, not organizing at the district level to have a propaganda orientation, creating consensus and unity in implementing the Party's policies.
