In Notice No. 56-TB/VP of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Head of the Parade and March Subcommittee to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification - directed the good implementation of the parade and marching tasks, affirming the significance, stature, and great historical value of the Great Spring Victory of 1975, the aspiration for peace, national independence, and the will to unify the country.
In the announcement, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia commended agencies and units for proactively developing plans and organizing forces to participate in parades and marches; implementing propaganda, education, and emulation...
To achieve high results in the parade and marching activities, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia requested that the forces organize tight and unified training; focusing on basic training as the basis for coordinated training within the bloc;
Be ready to handle situations well, avoid being passive or surprised, ensure absolute safety; strengthen education to raise awareness, build determination and sense of responsibility of forces in performing tasks.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia also clearly stated the requirements for relevant units to ensure thorough logistics for parades and marching missions, focus on food safety, improve the quality of soldiers' meals; pay attention to military uniforms during training and joint exercises; hygiene and epidemic prevention; examine, treat, and take care of soldiers' health; strictly inspect the quantity and quality of military vehicles and materials during marching; ensure absolute safety for people and weapons and equipment.
Notably, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia directed the forces to organize training according to the following timelines:
Phase 1, basic training at the unit, from December 2, 2024 to February 16, 2025.
Phase 2, concentrated training, joint training, from February 17, 2025 to April 6, 2025.
Phase 3, preliminary review, expected on April 25, 2025; final rehearsal, expected on April 27, 2025; official mission implementation, April 30, 2025.
Artillery force, air force salute, training from March 3, 2025 to April 30, 2025.
