Implementing the policy of arranging villages and residential groups (TDP), localities are proactively completing the steps according to the roadmap, striving to complete the arrangement in June according to the direction of the Government.
In Tay Ninh province, this locality has issued an overall plan to rearrange and reorganize hamlets and neighborhoods in the province in 2026.
Before the arrangement, Tay Ninh had 1,531 hamlets and neighborhoods, including 1,261 hamlets and 270 neighborhoods. Through review, 870 units met the standards, accounting for nearly 57%; and 661 units did not meet the standards for the scale of households according to regulations.
In addition, the whole province has 91 border hamlets adjacent to Cambodia along with many hamlets and neighborhoods belonging to ethnic minority areas, which are areas that need to consider specific factors when developing plans.
Based on the review, localities developed 558 arrangement plans, including merging hamlets and neighborhoods in their original state; adjusting part of the boundaries for merger; combining adjustment and merger; in some cases, only changing names to agree with the new commune-level administrative unit.
After arrangement, the whole province still has 987 hamlets and neighborhoods, of which 968 units meet standards and 19 hamlets do not meet standards but are kept or formed after arrangement due to specific factors in national defense, security, border areas, natural conditions or the presence of many ethnic minorities.
According to the Provincial People's Committee, maintaining these units is to ensure convenience in management, maintain national defense and security, stabilize people's lives and promote the specific characteristics of each area.

In Hung Yen province, there are currently 358 standard villages and residential groups that do not implement arrangement and reorganization; 2,173 villages and residential groups are rearranged in their original state; 56 villages and residential groups are partially reorganized; 29 villages and residential groups are dissolved and 7 villages and residential groups with specific elements are proposed not to be rearranged.
After arranging and reorganizing villages and residential groups, the whole province will have 1,322 villages and residential groups, a reduction of 1,301 villages and residential groups, equivalent to a reduction of 49.6% in the number of villages and residential groups.
The goal set by Hung Yen province in arranging villages and residential groups is based on the principle: The arrangement and arrangement must be suitable to the conditions and natural characteristics of the residential community and especially not disrupt historical, cultural, religious, and customary elements.
Communes and wards in the process of implementation must ensure compliance with the criteria and conditions according to the Central Government's regulations; at the same time, fully consider the specific factors of history, culture, customs, habits, geographical conditions, national defense, security, religious factors and the natural cohesion of the residential community; associated with the requirement to improve the efficiency of governance at the grassroots level, promote digital transformation and improve the quality of service to the people.
In the process of reviewing and developing plans, it is necessary to ensure a sharp reduction in village and TDP focal points. Do not implement mechanical arrangement, divide areas or maintain the old model in other forms.
In Thanh Hoa province, there are currently 4,351 villages and residential groups, of which 4,126 villages and residential groups will be arranged and reorganized; 225 villages and residential groups will not be arranged due to specific factors or have met the standards according to regulations.
According to the plan, after arrangement, Thanh Hoa will have 1,933 villages and TDPs, a reduction of 2,418 units, equivalent to a reduction of 55.6% compared to the present.
In Gia Lai, according to the plan, after completing the arrangement, the whole province will reduce from 2,693 villages and residential groups to 1,400 units, corresponding to a reduction of 1,293 villages and residential groups, reaching a rate of 48.01%.
In which, Pleiku ward alone, the locality plans to arrange from 40 TDPs, villages with 15,761 households to 16 TDPs and 1 specialized village, a decrease of 57.5% of focal points.
