On June 6, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the Secretariat held a meeting to consider the proposal of the Central Inspection Committee on disciplining violating Party members.
The Secretariat found that the personnel: Tran Ngoc Thuan - Former Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Business Party Committee, former Secretary of the Party Committee, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Rubber Industry Group; Vo Van Chanh - Former Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, former Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People's Committee; Nguyen Van Tien - former Member of the Provincial Party Committee, former Vice Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Council has decreased in political, ethical and lifestyle ideology.
3 Party members Tran Ngoc Thuan, Vo Van Chanh, Nguyen Van Tien also violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example.
The above violations have caused very serious consequences, public outrage, and have very negatively affected the reputation of the Party organization, local government, agencies and work units.
Based on the content, nature, extent, consequences, and causes of the violation; according to the Party's regulations on disciplining violating Party members, the Secretariat decided to take disciplinary action to expel from the Party Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuan, Vo Van Chanh, and Nguyen Van Tien.
The Secretariat recommends that competent authorities take timely and synchronous administrative discipline with party discipline.
