VNA reported that on the afternoon of May 25, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and his wife presided over the official welcoming ceremony for Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife, along with the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, on an official visit to Malaysia and attending the 46th ASEAN Summit and related Summits from May 24 to 28.
The welcoming ceremony was solemnly held at Prime Minister's Square right in front of the Prime Minister's Office in Kuala Lumpur.

The Malaysian Prime Minister and his wife were waiting, when the convoy carrying Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife entered Prime Minister Square, the Malaysian Prime Minister and his wife shook hands to greet the Prime Minister and his wife, then moved together to the podium.
When the two Prime Ministers and the two women stood in the honorary position, under the national flag, the two countries were solemnly appointed by Quieu. The Prime Minister of Malaysia invited the Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to approve the honor team. After that, the two Prime Ministers returned to the honor and the second time, Quoc Thieu was sent.

In the majestic music background, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife, along with the Malaysian Prime Minister and his wife introduced to each other the delegations of both sides and the Ambassadors and diplomatic representatives of the delegation in Malaysia attending the welcoming ceremony.
At the end of the welcoming ceremony, Malaysian Prime Minister and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh led delegations from both countries to the Prime Minister's Office to hold talks.
Previously, at noon on May 25, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the ASEAN Leadership and Partnership Forum. At the Forum, the Asia-Pacific Strategy Research Institute (KSI) honored the Prime Minister as a typical ASEAN leader in 2025.
On the same morning, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh worked with Malaysian enterprises and business associations to promote cooperation, investment and business activities of enterprises in Vietnam.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also attended the Vietnam - Malaysia Business Meeting Program to promote investment and business between businesses of the two countries.
