Vietnam International Defence Expo 2024 officially opened on the morning of December 19 and will last for 4 days, until December 22.
At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, there was an eye-catching performance by Su-30MK2 fighter jets and helicopters that made a strong impression on the audience.
Along with that, cultural and artistic performances at the exhibition contribute to promoting the image of the country, culture, people of Vietnam, and the military culture of the Vietnam People's Army to international friends.
Through the program, it contributes to spreading national pride and sense of responsibility among cadres, soldiers and people in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 is a key activity, creating a highlight of international significance and stature, organized simultaneously with programs and events on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day.
The exhibition organizers said that the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition area has an indoor display area of 15,000 square meters and an outdoor area of more than 20,000 square meters.
The exhibition displays 68 types of equipment in service of the Vietnam People's Army on an area of 10,530m2. There are 242 units registered to exhibit at the exhibition, 36 international delegations confirmed to attend the exhibition.
