On the evening of July 4, a special art program was held to celebrate the founding of the new Bac Ninh province with the theme "Bac Ninh thousand years of culture - Aspiration to rise in the new era".
The program is directly connected at two locations: 3/2 Square, Bac Giang Ward and Kinh Bac Cultural Center Square, Vu Ninh Ward.
Attending the program were members of the Party Central Committee: Nguyen Van Gau, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee; Dao Hong Lan, Minister of Health, former Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, former Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee.
Also attending were former leaders of Hebei, Bac Giang, and Bac Ninh provinces.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, reviewed the heroic and proud history of the land of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac - the land of the sky.
Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized: In recent years, the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang have continuously strived to rise up, becoming the dynamic growth poles of the key economic region of the North.
The development process of the two provinces is a clear demonstration of the spirit of innovation, creativity, solidarity and the desire to rise strongly.
The merger of the new Bac Ninh province not only has profound political and administrative significance but also opens up a large, sustainable and comprehensive development space. The new Bac Ninh has a scale of 4,718 km2, a population of more than 3.6 million people, with 99 communes and wards.
The economic scale is estimated at nearly 440,000 billion VND - ranking 5th nationwide, the Northeast gateway of the capital, connecting the development triangle of Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh and the midlands and northern mountainous areas.
With its new strategic position, Bac Ninh province will be a modern industrial - urban - service - trade - logistics center, a growth driver for the region and the whole country.
"This is also an opportunity for us to affirm our aspiration to rise up, political determination and responsibility towards the people in building Bac Ninh into a centrally-governed city before 2030", Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed.
The art program "Bac Ninh Thuong Nhat Nhat Nhat Van Van - Aspiration to Rise in the New Era" consists of 3 chapters: Chapter 1: The flow of history - Thousands of Culture Chapter 2: From traditional craft villages to the industrial capital of the North. Chapter 3: The area of aspiration to shine.
Meritoriously staged, the program brings together famous artists from Bac Ninh along with artists who have been close and attached to Bac Ninh in recent years such as People's Artist Quoc Hung, People's Artist Thuy Huong, Meritorious Artist Luong Huy, Singer Trong Tan and singers: Hoa Minzy, Duong Hoang Yen, Bao Tram, Bui Le Man, Tuan Cry, Luong Nguyet Anh...
One of the most special highlights of the program is the record-breaking performance, gathering more than 1,500 artists, mass actors, and students from the song "Bac Bling".
The program ended with a drone light performance combined with brilliant artistic fireworks, making a strong impression on viewers.
