At the 28th Session, the People's Council of Thuy Nguyen City passed a Resolution on dismissal of members of the Thuy Nguyen City People's Committee, term 2021-2026 for Mr. Dinh Chinh Quyen, former Vice Chairman of Thuy Nguyen City People's Committee and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung, former Head of the Department of Justice of Thuy Nguyen City.
The People's Council of Thuy Nguyen City also agreed to determine the term of the People's Council of Thuy Nguyen City as term I, 2021-2026. At the same time, the Working Regulations of the Standing Committee of Thuy Nguyen City People's Council for the 2021-2026 term were approved.
Also at the meeting, delegates of the People's Council of Thuy Nguyen City unanimously voted to pass the Resolution on the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies under the City People's Committee.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen City established the Department of Internal Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Internal Affairs and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; established the Department of Economics, Infrastructure and Urban Areas on the basis of renaming the Department of Economics - Infrastructure; established the Department of Culture, Science and Information on the basis of renaming the Department of Culture and Information; established the Department of Natural Resources and Environment on the basis of merging the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. At the same time, adjust and supplement the functions and tasks according to regulations for the Department of Health; Department of Education and Training.
After establishment and reorganization, Thuy Nguyen City People's Committee has 10 specialized departments, including the Department of Home Affairs; Department of Culture, Science and Information; Department of Economics, Infrastructure and Urban Areas; Department of Finance - Planning; Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Department of Health; Department of Education and Training; Department of Justice; City Inspectorate; Office of the People's Council and People's Committee of the city.
