On December 26, the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee held a conference to review the implementation of Resolution 18 of the 12th Party Central Committee.
According to the report, Thanh Hoa province reduced 5 provincial-level departments, branches and units; merged 2 traffic construction investment project management boards (No. 1 and 2); reduced 4 branches, 20 departments, 22 departments; reduced 27 medical departments of public service units of provincial-level unions and organizations, provincial-level agencies and district-level People's Committees.
Thanh Hoa province will merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department. Research to end the activities of 11 party delegations and party executive committees of provincial agencies and units.
The report also pointed out that in the 2016-2021 period, Thanh Hoa reduced 518 cadres and civil servants, the rate of staff reduction reached 12.29%. The number of civil servants decreased by 6,843, reaching a rate of 11.3%. In the 2022-2026 period, Thanh Hoa implemented the set plan, ensuring that by the end of 2026, it would reduce 5% of cadres and civil servants and 10% of public employees receiving salaries from the state budget.
It is known that at this conference, the representative of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department also said that in order to facilitate the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus, Ms. Bui Thi Muoi, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, has requested to retire early.
Ms. Bui Thi Muoi (born in 1969, from Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province), is currently a member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Propaganda Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee. Previously, she held the position of Secretary of Thach Thanh District Party Committee.
Although she still has nearly 2 years of work left, to facilitate the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus, when the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department merged, Ms. Muoi voluntarily applied for early retirement.
