The Minister of Transport has just issued a document regarding the early retirement of Mr. Dinh Viet Thang.
According to the Ministry of Transport, in order to have a basis to consider and resolve the application for early retirement dated December 9, 2024 of Mr. Dinh Viet Thang, Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Minister of Transport Tran Hong Minh requested:
The leadership and Party Committee of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam have given their written opinion on the request for early retirement due to health reasons of Mr. Dinh Viet Thang, Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam.
Mr. Dinh Viet Thang provides documents and records related to the reduction in working capacity issued by competent authorities as prescribed.
The Ministry of Transport requested the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and Mr. Dinh Viet Thang to send a document to the Ministry of Transport before December 16, 2024.
According to the Ministry of Transport Information Portal, according to Decision No. 1845/QD-BGTVT dated June 26, 2017 of the Minister of Transport, Mr. Dinh Viet Thang was appointed to the position of Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, from June 26, 2017.
Previously, Mr. Dinh Viet Thang was Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation.
Mr. Dinh Viet Thang was born in 1965, graduated from University in the former Soviet Union, majoring in air traffic management. Mr. Thang received a Master's degree in administration in Belgium, and is fluent in two foreign languages, English and Russian.
