According to Decision No. 1229/QD-TTg, Lieutenant General Tran Duy Hung - Political Commissar of the General Department of Engineering, Ministry of National Defense - will retire from December 1, 2024.
Before retiring, Lieutenant General Tran Duy Hung (born 1964) was a senior officer in the Vietnam People's Army. In 2016, he was promoted to the rank of Major General. In 2019, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General.
According to Decision No. 1231/QD-TTg, Mr. Trieu Van Cuong - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs - will retire from December 1, 2024.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs' electronic information portal, the Ministry of Home Affairs has just held a ceremony to award the Third Class Independence Medal of the President and announced the decision to retire with social insurance benefits to Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Trieu Van Cuong.
At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Truong Hai Long announced Decision No. 1035/QD-CTN dated October 18, 2024 of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam awarding the Third Class Independence Medal to Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Trieu Van Cuong for his outstanding achievements during his work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
Next, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Nguyen Huu Tuan announced the Prime Minister's Decision on retirement to receive social insurance benefits for Mr. Trieu Van Cuong from December 1, 2024.
