The Ministry of National Defense received a petition from voters of Quang Ninh province sent by the Petition Committee under Official Dispatch No. 942/BDN.
Voters in Quang Ninh province proposed a separate treatment regime for officers working in border areas.
Responding to this content, the Ministry of National Defense said that according to current regulations (Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP dated December 14, 2004 of the Government on salary regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces; Decree No. 76/2019/ND-CP dated October 8, 2019 of the Government on policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and salary earners in armed forces in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions), cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and salary earners in armed forces in general and officers in particular when working in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions;
In remote, remote, isolated areas, islands far from the mainland, border areas with particularly difficult living conditions... in addition to salary regime, depending on each condition, specific subjects are also entitled to regional allowances, special allowances, attraction allowances, border allowances.
The current regimes and policies have demonstrated the Party and State's concern and incentives for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and salary earners in the armed forces when coming to work in remote areas, border areas with socio-economic conditions and especially difficult living conditions.
This includes officers working in border areas, ensuring balance with the current general policy system of the State.
