On December 20, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 7 held a conference to announce and hand over decisions on personnel work.
At the conference, Major General Hoang Dinh Chung - Political Commissar of the Military Region - announced the decision of the Ministry of National Defense on reappointment, promotion, and salary increase for officers in charge of units under the Military Region in 2024.
During this period, Military Region 7 had 1 general officer whose salary was increased, Major General Dang Van Lam - Deputy Commander of the Military Region; 8 officers were reappointed to their positions; 8 officers were promoted from Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel (including 2 officers before their term), including:
1. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Trung - Deputy Commander of the Military Command (CHQS) of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
2. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Dat - Deputy Commander of Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command.
3. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Loi - Deputy Head of Political Department, Center for National Defense and Security Education (GDQPAN), Ho Chi Minh City National University (VNU).
4. Lieutenant Colonel Truong Xuan Vuong - Deputy Head of Political Department, Center for National Defense Education, Ho Chi Minh City National University.
