Comrade, in the past time, what outstanding contributions has the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee made in advising, orienting politics, ideology and creating social consensus?
- The Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has proactively advised the Party Committee to lead and direct Party building work on politics, ideology, and ethics; promptly thoroughly grasped and propagated resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Central Government and the province.
The content of propaganda is associated with arranging the organizational structure, operating the two-level local government, digital transformation, administrative reform, key projects and socio-economic development goals.
In the first 6 months of 2026 alone, the Board has advised on preliminary reviews and summaries of 21 documents and projects, including directives, resolutions, and conclusions of the Central Government and the province. The Board also coordinated to organize many large-scale online conferences, connecting to 100% of communes and wards, with over 20,000 delegates attending each conference.
Along with propaganda, we especially value grasping the ideological situation and public opinion. In the first 6 months of 2026, the Board has developed 24 weekly public opinion reports, 6 monthly reports; summarized more than 500 contents reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of cadres, party members and people.
Faced with the situation of fake information, distorted information and wrong and hostile views on social networks, how is the protection of the Party's ideological foundation carried out?
- We determine that protecting the Party's ideological foundation in cyberspace is a regular and long-term task of the entire political system.
The effectiveness of the Party's ideological foundation protection work is not only reflected in maintaining ideological stability and creating social consensus, but also in the quality of political works.
Over the years, cadres, party members, journalists, intellectuals, artists and people in the province have actively created and spread works to protect the Party's ideological foundation and fight against wrong and hostile views.
Notably, for 4 consecutive years, Nghe An has been awarded the Excellent Collective Award by the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee of the political commentary contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
In the coming time, what are the key tasks identified by the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, comrade?
- First, improve forecasting capacity, grasp the ideological situation and public opinion; improve the mechanism for providing fast, accurate and timely information from the grassroots level.
The goal is not to let information gaps form, especially in the face of new, difficult, complex issues or issues of particular public concern; thereby limiting the occurrence and spread of fake news, bad, and toxic information.
Second, build a contingent of propaganda and mass mobilization cadres to meet the requirements of the digital age.
The Board will continue to train digital skills, communication skills, identification and handling of fake information for officials of communes, wards, and political centers.
Third, promote the overall strength of the entire political system, especially the press, the team of reporters, propagandists, intellectuals, artists, cadres, and party members in cyberspace.
Thereby, spreading official and positive information; taking correct information to refute false information, taking good deeds and good values to limit negative manifestations.
That is a solid foundation for building the great national unity bloc, maintaining political and social stability and protecting the ideological foundation of the Party.
