On August 15, information from Nghe An Provincial People's Committee said that it had just issued Official Letter No. 8311 conveying the direction of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long, requesting departments, branches and sectors to urgently make a list of at least 5% of cadres and civil servants in the payroll of agencies and units to mobilize, second, and strengthen to communes with difficulties in personnel arrangement, especially in the fields of land management, finance, environment, construction, information technology and public administration centers. This list must be sent to the Department of Home Affairs before 10:00 on August 18 for synthesis.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board to review, implement the process and issue a decision on mobilization and acceptance according to its authority; at the same time, report to the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board before August 20.
The above policy aims to implement Conclusion No. 586-KL/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Official Letter No. 808-CV/DU dated August 13 of the Provincial People's Committee Standing Committee on perfecting, supplementing, and arranging cadres, civil servants, and public employees after merging commune-level administrative units.
After the arrangement, Nghe An currently has 130 communes and wards, a decrease of 282 units compared to before. The increase of cadres from the provincial, department and sector levels to the commune is expected to contribute to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of management, meeting the requirements of serving the people at the grassroots level.
Up to now, Nghe An province has arranged 9,928 cadres, civil servants and public employees to work at 130 commune-level administrative units, including 4,063 people from the Party and 5,865 people from the government.
