At the ceremony, Long Bien District Party Secretary Duong Hoai Nam affirmed that after more than 50 years of working in the Public Security sector, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Huong has made many important contributions to the field of national security protection as well as to the work of Party and State building.
After retiring, Mr. Nguyen Van Huong continued to participate in establishing the Oriental Development Research Institute Branch in Hanoi, establishing the Oriental Magazine and Nguyen Van Huong Library, making an important contribution to preserving and disseminating knowledge about the heroic history of the Vietnamese revolution to future generations.
At the ceremony, Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organizing Committee Vu Duc Bao presented the 60-year Party membership badge to Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Huong.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Huong expressed his emotion, honor and pride at being awarded the 60-year Party membership badge, affirming that this is a valuable recognition from the Party, State and people for his contributions and efforts over the past 60 years.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Huong affirmed that despite his advanced age, he is still fully aware of his responsibilities and will continue to contribute to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, always maintaining the qualities of a Party member, and being an example for the younger generation to follow.
At the ceremony, on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long wished Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Huong to take care of his health, continue to give much love, attention, encouragement and contribute valuable experiences, helping the People's Public Security force continue to excellently fulfill the tasks entrusted by the Party, State and people.
