According to Minister Nguyen Van Hung, Exhibitor Kim Quy shows Vietnam's desire to reach international standards in the exhibition industry.

On the afternoon of June 27, in Hanoi, Vietnam Exhibition Center Joint Stock Company - a member of Vingroup Corporation - handed over the site of the Vietnam Exhibition Center to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, ready for the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

At the ceremony, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung said that 2025 is a special milestone with many important political events, notably the whole country will solemnly celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.

According to Mr. Hung, this is not only an opportunity to review the glorious journey under the leadership of the Party but also an opportunity to spread the soft power of the nation through culture - an factor that is increasingly affirmed as a driving force for sustainable development.

From that requirement, the Vietnam Exhibition Center has been identified as one of the key, strategic projects. Right from the start of construction, this project was expected to become a world-class exhibition center.

Minister Nguyen Van Hung highly appreciated the close coordination between Vingroup, Hanoi government and ministries and branches in mobilizing resources to build a modern exhibition center.

In particular, the iconic project - Kim Quy Exhibition House not only has a unique architectural mark associated with national traditions, but also demonstrates Vietnam's aspiration to reach international standards in the exhibition industry. The fact that General Secretary To Lam directly visited the project two days before, according to the Minister, is a great recognition and encouragement for the units participating in the project.

However, for the center to be put into operation on the occasion of National Day, according to Mr. Hung, there is still a lot of work to be done. From completing the operating process, personnel, to developing an exhibition organization plan.

Minister Nguyen Van Hung added that this is the first time in 80 years that Vietnam has organized such a large-scale exhibition, in a spacious, modern and well-off space. To realize the idea into reality, it requires an overall design, professional consultation and careful coordination.

At the site handover ceremony on June 27, the Minister emphasized that this is just the beginning. He suggested that after the handover ceremony, it is necessary to organize a meeting with the participation of leaders of 34 provinces and cities that will take charge of component exhibition spaces to plan in detail and receive implementation site.
