On June 24, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 1298/QD-TTg on the appointment of the new Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province.
According to the decision, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut - Deputy Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee (new) for the 2020-2025 term was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the new Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee.
In Decision No. 1310/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed the following men to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province for the new term 2021-2026, including:
1. Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, Acting Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
2. Mr. Nguyen Minh Lam - Member of the Standing Committee of Long An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
3. Mr. Doan Trung Kien - Member of the Standing Committee of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
4. Mr. Pham Tan Hoa - Member of the Executive Committee of the Long An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Vice Chairman of the Long An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
5. Mr. Huynh Van Son - Member of the Executive Committee of the Long An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Vice Chairman of the Long An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
The decisions take effect from July 1.
The new Tay Ninh province was formed on the basis of merging the two provinces of Tay Ninh and Long An. Along with the 36 new communes and wards that Tay Ninh has arranged, the new province will have a total of 96 communes and wards.
Currently, Long An province is planning to organize a ceremony to announce the National Assembly's resolution on the establishment of Tay Ninh province and the resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place on June 30, in the center of the new Tay Ninh province under Tan An city, present Long An province.
The expected content of the ceremony will announce the National Assembly's resolutions on the establishment of the new Tay Ninh province. Announce the decision of the competent authority on the establishment of the Provincial Party Committee, appointing personnel for provincial leadership.
At the same time, personnel decisions were presented and the new Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee was launched.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ut was born in 1969, from Binh Hoa Nam commune, Duc Hue district, Long An. Professional qualifications: bachelor of economics, master of economics and advanced political theory.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ut has held the positions of Vice Chairman and Chairman of the People's Committee of Duc Hoa district. From 2015, he held the position of Secretary of Duc Hoa District Party Committee and was also a member of the Provincial Party Committee until he held the position of Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee in June 2019.
From October 2019, he has been a member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and was elected Deputy Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee, term XI, 2020-2025, in mid-October.
At the 23rd session of the People's Council of Long An province, term IX on November 11, 2020, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut - Deputy Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Long An Provincial People's Committee - was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
