National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man issued Resolution No. 1277/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Tra Vinh province for the 2023-2025 period.
The Standing Committee of the National Assembly resolved to merge the entire natural area of 0.29 km2 and the population of 3,885 people of Ward 2 and the entire natural area of 1.01 km2 and the population of 10,960 people of Ward 6 into Ward 3 (Tra Vinh city). After the merger, Ward 3 has a natural area of 1.47 km2 and a population of 18,644 people.
Ward 3 borders Ward 1, Ward 4, Ward 5, Ward 7 and Ward 9;
This Resolution comes into force from January 1, 2025.
Regarding the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Tra Vinh province in the period of 2023 - 2025, Mr. Nguyen Trung Hoang - Vice Chairman of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee - said that this is an important task, closely linked to the implementation of innovation in the arrangement of the political system's organizational structure to be streamlined, effective and efficient, contributing to improving the quality of human resources of the civil service, making the state apparatus operate better, more effectively and with higher quality.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Nhu - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh city, regarding personnel work after the administrative unit arrangement, the Party Committee of Ward 3 after the merger has 24 affiliated party cells and 865 party members.
The Party Committee of Ward 3 needs to seriously and focus on implementing well the tasks in the coming time; supplement and complete the program and action plan, creating favorable conditions for people, agencies, units and enterprises to conduct transactions and convert documents according to their authority.
At the same time, avoid causing trouble and complications, promptly report difficulties and problems in the implementation process to competent authorities.
