On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, on August 29, many localities in Can Tho City solemnly held a ceremony to award the Party Badge to senior Party members.
In Soc Trang ward, the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee organized the awarding of the Party Badges to 15 comrades. Among them, 2 comrades received the 55-year Party membership badge, 1 comrade 50 years, 3 comrades 45 years, 1 comrade 40 years and 8 comrades 30 years of Party membership.
In Phu Loc commune, the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee also awarded the Party Badge to 15 Party members. Among them, there are 4 comrades of 30 years of Party membership, 8 comrades of 40 years, 2 comrades of 45 years and 1 comrade of 55 years of Party membership.
In Long Phu commune, 14 party members were honored to receive the Party Badge. Among them, there are 2 comrades who have been 50 years of the Party, 4 comrades who have been 45 years, 7 comrades who have been 40 years and 1 comrade who has been 30 years of the Party.
The Party members who were awarded the Badge expressed their honor and pride in the recognition of the Party, and affirmed that they will continue to set a shining example, promote a sense of responsibility, educate their children and grandchildren and actively contribute to the development of the locality.
Local leaders emphasized that the Party Badge awarding ceremony is not only a recognition of the Party's age but also a respect for the persistent contributions and dedication of senior Party members to the revolutionary cause, and at the same time a source of encouragement for the next generations to continue to strive, building Can Tho to be more civilized and modern.
