On the afternoon of August 29, in Hanoi, the Ministry of National Defense held a meeting with military groups from China, Russia, Laos, and Cambodia to participate in the parade and march at the 80th Anniversary of the Successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Senior General Hoang Xuan Chien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense - chaired the meeting. Major General Nguyen Ba Luc - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien warmly welcomed soldiers of the People's Liberation Army of China, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Lao People's Army and the Royal Cambodian Army to parade and march in Vietnam.

Senior General Hoang Xuan Chien affirmed that the participation of soldiers from friendly countries in the upcoming celebration at the historic Ba Dinh Square is a noble symbol of the spirit of national solidarity, international solidarity, for the goal of peace, cooperation, friendship and development. This is also an opportunity for Vietnam to recognize and honor the wholehearted and wholehearted help of international friends in the cause of national liberation struggle of our people.
The Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense acknowledges and highly appreciates the determination and training efforts of officers and soldiers of the armies of other countries. The soldiers have made efforts to overcome difficulties in weather, pressure in time, changes in time zone, and living conditions to quickly deploy training and consolidation in the formation of Vietnam's parade and marching groups.
According to Deputy Minister Hoang Xuan Chien, the image of foreign soldiers from the time they arrived in Vietnam was widely spread in the mass media, leaving deep impressions of the strength, discipline as well as the professionalism and regularity of the armies of the countries.
In that spirit, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien believes that soldiers of friendly countries, together with the Vietnam People's Army, will successfully complete the assigned tasks, contributing to the success of the grand festival.
