On August 28, the Tan Son Nhat Ward Party Committee held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and awarded the Party Badge on September 2.
Speaking at the ceremony, Tan Son Nhat Ward Party Secretary Le Hoang Ha affirmed that September 2, 1945 was a great historical milestone, opening an era of independence and freedom for the nation. He emphasized the sacred value of the Independence Day as the victory of the bravery, intelligence and resilience of the entire nation under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh.
Secretary Le Hoang Ha emphasized that awarding the Party Badge is a noble recognition of the Party for the contributions of Party members, and at the same time, it is an honor and pride for the family and the entire Party Committee of Tan Son Nhat Ward. He also expressed his hope that Party members would continue to promote their pioneering and exemplary spirit, contributing opinions to build an increasingly strong Party Committee, government and People of the ward.
Also at the ceremony, the ward leaders highlighted the achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of Tan Son Nhat ward have achieved in the fields of economy - society, national defense - security. In particular, the 1st Ward Party Congress, term 2025-2030, was a great success, setting 26 targets and 4 breakthroughs, aiming to build a sustainable development ward and green urban area.
