The conference approved the projects: Merging advisory and support agencies of the Hai Phong City Party Committee and the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee; merging Hai Duong Radio and Television Newspaper and Station and the Hai Phong Press and Communications Center; Merging Hai Duong Provincial Political School and To Hieu Political School.
The delegates unanimously approved the Project and decided to establish 4 grassroots Party Committees under the City Party Committee, including: Party Committees of City Party Agencies, Party Committees of City People's Committee, City Police Party Committee, City Military Party Committee. The Secretary of the City Party Committee assigned the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to issue Regulations on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the agencies; Decision to appoint the executive committee, secretary, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, inspection committee, head and deputy head of the inspection committee for the 2020 - 2025 term of the above 4 Party Committees.
The City Party Committee Executive Committee unanimously approved the Project to merge the People's Council, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Councils of Hai Phong City and Hai Duong Province and the project to establish (merge) specialized agencies and public service units under the Hai Phong City People's Committee; approved the Draft Working Regulations of the Hai Phong City Party Committee Executive Committee (after the merger) for the 2020-2025 term.
Concluding the Conference, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau requested that immediately after the conference, based on the assignment of assigned areas, comrades in the City Party Committee to urgently grasp the situation in localities, promptly remove obstacles so that the apparatus can operate smoothly, serving people and businesses.
