On October 15, at the headquarters of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, the Central Organizing Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
Mr. Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee - chaired the conference.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee - announced the Politburo's decision on personnel work for Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, term XVI, 2025-2030.
Accordingly, the Politburo decided that Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh would cease to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, term XVI and related positions; transfer and appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, and at the same time participate in the Party Committee of Military Region 1, from October 15, 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Minh Hung congratulated the new Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee on being trusted by the Politburo to be assigned a new responsibility, as the head of the Party Committee of a northern border province with an important strategic position in politics, defense, security and foreign affairs.
Mr. Le Minh Hung expressed his confidence that Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh and the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Lang Son province will promote the tradition of solidarity, unity and determination to successfully implement the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, making Lang Son develop strongly in the coming time.
Also at the conference, the Head of the Central Organizing Committee sent his regards and encouragement from General Secretary To Lam and the leaders of the Party and State to the people of Lang Son who are suffering damage due to natural disasters.
On this occasion, the Central Working Group presented a support of VND500 million to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province to help people overcome the consequences of floods, soon stabilize their lives and restore production.
Speaking at the ceremony, the new Secretary of the Border Provincial Party Committee expressed his deep gratitude to the Politburo and the Secretariat.
He affirmed that he will work with the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee and the entire provincial political system to uphold the spirit of solidarity, courage, creativity, overcome difficulties, strive to build Lang Son to become the growth pole of the midland and mountainous areas of the North, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.
