On the afternoon of October 13, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee held a meeting with businesses to celebrate Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day. Nearly 300 delegates representing typical businesses and entrepreneurs in the whole province attended the conference.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that after the merger of the province, the results of the first 9 months of 2025 showed that most of the province's economic indicators had met and exceeded the plan.
These results have important and direct contributions from the business community and entrepreneurs of the province.
Currently, Khanh Hoa has nearly 16,000 operating enterprises. On average, enterprises contribute more than 45% of total state budget revenue in the province each year, creating jobs for about 250,000 workers.
In recent times, Khanh Hoa province has drastically and synchronously implemented tasks and solutions on administrative reform, improving the investment and business environment and especially developing the private economy.
The province has focused on reviewing and reducing administrative procedures (AP) and business conditions with the goal of cutting at least 30% of the settlement time and 30% of unnecessary business conditions.
Congratulating the business community, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee said that after the merger, Khanh Hoa will open up a large development space.
In July 2025, the province issued a Resolution on double-digit economic growth and held a meeting with businesses and investors nationwide.
The province also established 3 development pillars, prioritizing the development of high-tech industries, building criteria to attract experienced industrial investors with the ability to tell the truth and do the truth.
Affirming the role of the business community in implementing the goal of making Khanh Hoa a high-growth haven of the country, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh said that the commitment to accompanying businesses is: Think big, tell the truth and do it effectively.
The province will resolutely handle if it discovers that officials at all levels are harassing businesses. At the same time, promptly issue regulations on the settlement of administrative procedures.
For the enterprise, Mr. Thanh also hopes to have the capacity to commit, and has committed to doing so.
Recently, assessing the backlog of projects in the province, in addition to the government's errors in the documents, there are also some limitations in the capacity of investors.
Khanh Hoa province is committed to always standing side by side, accompanying and creating all favorable conditions for the sustainable development of enterprises.
This is also an effective measure, contributing to building a business community that is both dedicated, capable, and a core force in the cause of industrialization and modernization of the province.
On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 17 collectives and 12 individuals with outstanding achievements in production and business activities.
