This morning (February 3, 2025), at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary To Lam chaired the Conference to announce the Politburo's Decisions on the establishment and appointment of personnel of 4 Party Committees directly under the Central Committee.
At the same time, the Conference also announced the functions, tasks, powers, organizational structure, and working relationships of the three Party agencies at the Central level (Central Party Office, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Central Policy and Strategy Commission).
At the Conference, the General Secretary presented the Decision on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Party Central Office and congratulated Mr. Le Hoai Trung - Secretary of the Party Central Committee - on being appointed as Chief of the Party Central Office.
General Secretary To Lam congratulated Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc on his excellent performance as Chief of the Party Central Committee Office, his election as Politburo member and Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission.
Previously, as Lao Dong reported, at the 13th Party Central Committee Conference on January 23, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Chief of the Party Central Committee Office was elected to the Politburo and held the position of Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee.
Mr. Le Hoai Trung was born in April 1961, Hometown: Huong Thuy district, Thua Thien Hue.
He is a member of the Party Central Committee, 12th and 13th tenures; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, 13th tenure (from October 2023), member of the National Defense and Security Committee of the 15th National Assembly. His professional qualifications include: Doctor of Law, Master of International Law and Diplomacy; senior political theory.
Mr. Le Hoai Trung has worked in the diplomatic sector for a long time, since October 1982 as a specialist in the Department of General Political Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Before taking up the position of Head of the Central Commission for External Relations (March 2021), Mr. Le Hoai Trung held the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
