By the end of 2025, Lai Chau has 446 cooperatives with 8,074 members and employees. The total registered charter capital of cooperatives reached over 1,411 billion VND. The average revenue of a cooperative is estimated at over 1.5 billion VND.
In the 2025-2030 term, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance strives to build 5 typical model cooperatives according to national criteria. By 2030, over 50% of OCOP products of the province will be subject to collective economic organizations, with over 1 product achieving 4-star OCOP.
At the first working session, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Provincial Cooperative Alliance for the Vth term, 2025-2030, including 31 comrades.
At the first Conference, the Executive Committee elected the Standing Committee of the Provincial Cooperative Alliance consisting of 9 comrades; the Inspection Committee consisting of 3 comrades.
Mr. Nguyen Bien Cuong was re-elected Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Alliance term V, term 2025-2030; comrades Nguyen Quang Hai, Bui Quy Toan were elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Alliance term V.
On this occasion, Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 10 individuals who have achievements in the emulation movement to celebrate the 5th Provincial Cooperative Alliance Congress, term 2025-2030.
