On August 8, the National Assembly of the Fatherland Front ( MTTQ ) of Vietnam's Soc Trang Province organized the 10th National Assembly, with a term of 2024-2029.
According to the National Assembly of the Fatherland Front of Vietnam's Soc Trang Province, during the 2019-2024 term, the National Assembly of the Fatherland Front of Vietnam at all levels mobilized 431.26 trillion VND for the Fund for the Poor, supported the construction of 8,215 new houses and the repair of 8,215 existing houses for poor households; mobilized 556,239 gifts for the poor and those with difficult circumstances during the Lunar New Year, with a total value of 237.73 trillion VND.
In addition, the National Assembly of the Fatherland Front of Vietnam at all levels, its member organizations, and religious organizations mobilized and implemented various activities, with a total value of over 1,450 trillion VND.
The province cooperated with various sectors and levels to effectively implement the National Target Program on New Rural Development (NRD). Currently, 03/10 districts and towns have achieved NRD standards/completed NRD tasks; 02 districts have completed dossiers to request the Central Committee to recognize them as NRD standards; 70/80 communes have achieved NRD standards, including 20 communes that have achieved advanced NRD standards, 02 communes that have achieved model NRD standards; 17 civilized urban areas.
The people's solidarity bloc on the territory has been consolidated and strengthened; all social classes, ethnic groups, and religions have trusted in the leadership of the Party, the management of the government, and the implementation of the Party's resolutions, the government's policies, and the laws of the State...
The Congress unanimously agreed to elect 93 delegates to participate in the members of the National Assembly of the Fatherland Front of Vietnam's Soc Trang Province, term of 2024-2029.
At the first meeting of the National Assembly of the Fatherland Front of Soc Trang Province, the members unanimously agreed to nominate 7 delegates to the Standing Committee of the 10th term.
Among them, Mr. Ngô Hùng, Secretary of the Vĩnh Châu Town Party Committee, was unanimously elected as the Chairman; 3 Vice Chairmen, including Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Huệ Chi, Mr. Lưu Văn Xem, and Mrs. Tư Tố Quyên; 3 members of the Standing Committee, including Mr. Huỳnh Việt Phương, Mr. Cao Minh Tần, and Mrs. Huỳnh Thị Mai Phương.
