At the Session, the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council implemented the process of dismissing Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and elected the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee according to regulations.
Mr. Nguyen The Manh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee was elected by the Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, term 2026 - 2031.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Nguyen The Manh respectfully thanked the attention and trust of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Council.
At the same time, he emphasized that this is an honor and a great responsibility to the Party, State and people of Thai Nguyen province.
In his new position, Mr. Nguyen The Manh affirmed that he will work with the Provincial People's Committee collective to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, dedication, and effort; maintain administrative discipline and order, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management; promote economic growth, industrial development, strategic infrastructure, science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.
Previously, on September 18, the Secretariat decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen The Manh - Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030; and at the same time introduced him to the Provincial People's Council to elect him to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Mr. Nguyen The Manh was born on July 24, 1972, native of Hung Yen province; professional qualifications: Master of Economics, majoring in Finance - Credit; advanced level of political theory.
Mr. Nguyen The Manh has held positions such as Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Finance; Deputy Director General of the General Department of Taxation; General Director of Vietnam Social Security; Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.
