3 Army Generals introduced to run for National Assembly Deputy of the XVI term
On the afternoon of January 8, in Hanoi, the Office of the Ministry of National Defense organized a conference to collect opinions from voters in their workplace for General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Politburo, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense, National Assembly Deputy of the XV term - who was introduced to run for National Assembly Deputy of the XVI term, term 2026 - 2031.
At the conference, 100% of voters voted unanimously to introduce General Phan Van Giang to participate in the election of National Assembly Deputy of the XVI term.
Previously, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army organized a conference to introduce personnel for the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term.
The conference discussed, voted, and expressed high unity in introducing General Nguyen Trong Nghia - Head of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army - to run for National Assembly Deputy of the XVI term with a 100% unanimous vote.
After listening to the opinions of voters, the conference conducted a vote on the personnel candidate for the 16th National Assembly, General Nguyen Trong Nghia, with a unanimous vote of 100%.

Also related to the introduction of candidates for the 16th National Assembly, according to the Ministry of National Defense's Electronic Information Portal, in the afternoon of January 7, the Office of the General Staff organized a conference to collect voters' opinions on the place of work for General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense - the person introduced to run for the 16th National Assembly.
At the conference, 100% of voters voted unanimously to introduce General Nguyen Tan Cuong to participate in the election of National Assembly Deputy of the XVI term.

Handover of responsibilities and tasks of the Commander of Coast Guard Region 3
