According to the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Kien - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Chi Linh City was transferred to work at the Hai Duong City Party Committee from October 8, 2024, appointed to participate in the Executive Committee of the City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Hai Duong City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, introduced to the Hai Duong City People's Council to elect the position of Chairman of the Hai Duong City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Speaking at the assignment, Mr. Tran Duc Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the transfer of cadres is a regular task to promote the capacity, strengths, training and education of the province's cadres to meet the requirements of assigned tasks.This is a step to prepare personnel for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, creating a premise for the development of the province and localities in the coming years.

Also this morning, at the thematic session, the People's Council of Hai Duong City dismissed the position of Chairman of the City People's Committee and terminated the duties of Hai Duong City People's Council delegate for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Tran Ho Dang due to job transfer; elected Mr. Nguyen Van Kien, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of Hai Duong City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
On the same day, the People's Council of Chi Linh City held a thematic meeting, dismissed the position of Chairman of the City People's Committee and terminated the duties of the People's Council delegate of Chi Linh City, term 2021-2026 for Mr. Nguyen Van Kien.
The People's Council of Chi Linh City announced the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to assign the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Chi Linh City to Mr. Nguyen Van Huynh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Chi Linh City from October 8, 2024 until the completion of the position of Chairman of the City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
