On the afternoon of June 30, in Hanoi, the Central Party Office announced the Decision of the Politburo and the Secretariat on personnel work.
Mr. Le Hoai Trung - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office - chaired the Conference.
At the conference, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee - announced the Politburo's Decision, deciding that Mr. Dang Khanh Toan - Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee - would cease to participate in the Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and cease to hold the position of Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025, and was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office.
At the same time, the Secretariat's Decision was announced, deciding that Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee - would cease to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and cease to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee for the term 2020 - 2025, and was transferred to hold the position of full-time member of the Central Steering Committee on science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Hoai Trung - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee on science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation - emphasized that Mr. Dang Khanh Toan is a capable and experienced cadre, with basic training, maturity from the grassroots, and training and challenges in many different positions.
In his working positions, Mr. Dang Khanh Toan always strives, strives, trains, completes well, completes tasks excellently, and has made important contributions to the overall achievements and results of the locality, agency, and unit.
Regarding Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung, Mr. Le Hoai Trung said that this is a young cadre with good political qualities, capacity and many outstanding achievements in work, trained and challenged through many different working positions.
After a period of rotation to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, implementing the Party and State's policy on arranging provincial-level administrative units, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung was trusted by the Secretariat to be transferred to hold the position of full-time member of the Central Steering Committee on science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Dang Khanh Toan expressed his deep gratitude to General Secretary To Lam, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Organization Committee, and the Party Central Committee Office for their attention, trust, introduction, appointment, and assignment of tasks to him as Deputy Chief of the Central Office.
Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung expressed his honor to take on the new assignment, holding the position of full-time member of the Central Steering Committee on science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation. Mr. Dung affirmed that he will continue to constantly learn, strive, improve, and do his best to promote professional knowledge and practical experience at the grassroots level to best complete assigned tasks.
Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung has 20 years of experience in the fields of cyber security, information technology, digital technology, and has matured from expert to Deputy Minister of Information and Communications.
