Mr. Phan Van Mai was born in 1973, from Thanh Phu Dong commune, Giong Trom district, Ben Tre province; professional qualification: Master of economic management, bachelor of business administration, bachelor of English.
He is a member of the 12th and 13th Party Central Committee; a delegate of the 15th National Assembly; and has held the position of Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee since 2021.
According to the new organizational structure of the National Assembly, the Economic Committee and the Finance and Budget Committee of the 15th National Assembly will be merged, named the Economic and Finance Committee.
