On July 22, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Decision No. 3866/QD-UBND on the completion of the City's Collective Economic Development Steering Committee.
According to the Decision, the Hanoi collective economic development Steering Committee includes the following members: Mr. Truong Viet Dung - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee to hold the position of Head of the Committee; Deputy Heads of the Committee include Mr. Nguyen Xuan Luu - Director of the Department of Finance (Standing Deputy Head of the Committee) and Mr. Do Huy Chien - Chairman of the Hanoi Cooperative Union (HHTX). The remaining members are representatives of relevant departments, branches and sectors of the City.
The Steering Committee is responsible for researching and proposing policies, mechanisms and strategies to develop and improve the economic efficiency of collectives and cooperatives; advising the City People's Committee in directing, coordinating, coordinating and resolving issues related to this field.
At the same time, the Steering Committee will organize the implementation of the 2023 Cooperative Law along with resolutions, programs and projects of the Central Committee, the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee on collective economic development.
In addition, the Committee also coordinates activities between departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees at all levels in the process of implementing the collective economic development plan; guiding, urging, inspecting, supervising, summarizing and proposing rewards in the process of performing tasks.
The Department of Finance is assigned as the Standing agency of the Steering Committee. The members of the Board work part-time. In case there is a change in the participating leadership representative, the relevant units need to have a written report to the City People's Committee to carry out the addition and adjustment of members according to regulations.
