On the afternoon of October 30, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung inspected the landslide site in Group 5, Tra Xanh village, Thanh Bong commune, isolating 3 villages with nearly 800 people. At the scene, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung requested local authorities to urgently mobilize forces and means to initial solutions, soon reopen the traffic route, and not let people be isolated for long periods of time.

The Deputy Prime Minister also inspected the situation in Tay Tra Bong commune, visited and encouraged the authorities who are overcoming the consequences of the landslide. At the evacuation point of Huong Tra Kindergarten No. 1, Group 1, Tra Linh village, Tay Tra Bong commune, the Deputy Prime Minister visited and shared the difficulties with the people and requested authorities at all levels to take good care of their lives, ensure enough necessities, clean water and safe accommodation.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung requested the Tay Tra Bong commune government to continue promoting the "4 on-site" motto, proactively responding to complicated weather developments, minimizing damage.
Through an inspection of the actual work of overcoming the consequences of floods in Quang Ngai province, the Deputy Prime Minister said that there were too many landslides in Quang Ngai province, many houses and crops of the people were damaged. The Deputy Prime Minister directed Quang Ngai province to ensure conditions for all people to not be hungry, ensure food, and provide timely relief to people during their temporary residence.

In the immediate future, Quang Ngai province urgently overcomes more than 200 landslide risk points in the area; ensuring smooth traffic for people. At the same time, focus on supporting production, especially varieties to help people restore production and stabilize their lives. In the long term, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung suggested that Quang Ngai province should organize a survey and relocate people in areas at risk of landslides.
